Eli Friedman

VP of Innovation, Elbit Systems Ltd.

Eli Friedman joined Elbit Systems as vice president of innovation in 2022. In this role, he brings more than three decades’ experience in technology leadership, entrepreneurship, and large-scale management to the development of closed and open innovation and strategic partnerships with Israeli and global innovative entities. Prior to joining Elbit, Friedman served as head of the Electronics R&D Division of Israel’s Ministry of Defense; head of the Combat System Division of the Israeli Navy; and head of the defense ministry’s Electronic Warfare Branch. He holds a B.Sc. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
